Opening doors.
What?
Belgian Notaries gather every two years for the Notary Congress. This congress combines two academic days with a leisure and evening programme.
How?
The academic programme opened on Wednesday evening with an informal opening night at Handelsbeurs Gent. During this night, we brought the ‘Gentsche Fieste’ to Belgium’s notaries with appropriate decorations, catering, music and animations. For the gala evening at the end of day 2, we went all out and set up a glass tent in the middle of a castle’s courtyard. After the reception, guests were welcomed by the castle’s knights and immersed in the elegant atmosphere. An exquisite dinner was followed by the party of the year!
Over 3 days, Act!Events organised no less than 14 fringe programmes for the notaries and their partners, spread all over East Flanders. We had something for everyone: fashion workshops, culinary workshops, museum visits, a behind-the-scenes visit to Ghent University, a boat trip in the city centre, ‘Opening Doors tour’, a classic car tour in the Flemish Ardennes, a golf tournament, a mountainbike tour, a hockey and tennis tournament, hikes, a visit to the Filliers distillery, a visit to the Nobel vineyard.
Results?
With a record number of 1,387 participants from all over Belgium and abroad, this 3-day event was nothing short of a success.
